Indeed, ninjatrader 7 is faster and more convenient to work. It is a shame that version 8 is slower even though the company noted that version 8 consumes less memory and less load on the processor. We'll live with what we have.

The indicator is just kind of a simple Footprint SnapShot, which can be toggled by double clicking on the chart. By holding the Control-Key while double clicking, the SnapShot will be reset.
